Stray Kids and Sorikun Reach 400 Million Views
Stray Kids’ music video for Sorikun(Thunderous) has surpassed 400 million views on YouTube. According to JYP Entertainment, the MV, released in August 2021 as the title track of NOEASY, reached this milestone on the morning of the 7th. This makes Sorikun the group’s second MV to exceed 400 million views, following God’s Menu.
Stray Kids Deliver Powerful Message in Sorikun
Sorikun was written and produced by 3RACHA members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. The track blends powerful breath sounds with dynamic Korean traditional music. The title carries a dual meaning, combining noise from nagging with sori (sound) from a singer, expressing confidence in standing firm against criticism.
Visual Impact of the Music Video
The MV enhances the song’s impact with visually striking elements. It features Korean cultural elements like royal court music, traditional drumming, and Bukcheong lion masks. Animation transitions and special effects add intensity, making the video both engaging and memorable.
Stray Kids and Global Success with Sorikun
Stray Kids continue to solidify their global status. Their special album SKZHIPTAPE, released in December, achieved six consecutive No.1 rankings on the Billboard 200. Their ongoing world tour DOMINATE has expanded to 34 cities with 55 shows, including major stadium concerts in Latin America, Japan, North America, and Europe starting in March. Before that, they will hold their fifth official fan meeting, SKZ 5’CLOCK, from February 14 to 16 in Incheon.
Fan Concerns Over Ticket Cancellation Policy
Recently, Korean online community instiz saw discussions about Stray Kids’ fan meeting tickets. On January 31, JYP Entertainment announced that suspected fraudulent purchases would be canceled without prior notice. While fans supported this policy, they worried about false accusations affecting genuine buyers. Some fans recalled past cases where even legitimate buyers received verification requests due to system errors. Fortunately, a week later, no reports of wrongful cancellations have surfaced.

SKZ is talented, period. They’re the definition of self-producing artists. Pioneers of the mala taste genre, they’re not afraid to make different music, and they’re not trying to be like anyone else. They know they only need 5tay, and 5tay is growing in a monumental way. After all, they’re the undeniably generational leaders of SKZ!
